How can I fix my Audi A6's malfunctioning MMI system?

I recently purchased a used Audi A6 and have noticed that the MMI system constantly freezes and crashes. I've tried resetting it, but the issue persists. What steps should I take to troubleshoot and potentially fix this issue?

First, try updating the MMI software to the latest version. If the issue persists, disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and reconnect. Sometimes this can reset the system and resolve any glitches. If that doesn't work, you may need to bring your car to an Audi dealership for further diagnostics.

I had a similar issue with my Audi A6 and found that it was caused by a faulty Bluetooth module. If you have any aftermarket devices connected to the MMI, try disconnecting them and see if the freezing issue goes away. If it does, you may need to replace the Bluetooth module.
