How can I enable Android Auto in my Audi A5?

I have a 2020 Audi A5 and want to connect my Android phone to use Android Auto. However, I can't seem to figure out how to enable it on my car's infotainment system. Can anyone provide step-by-step instructions on how to enable Android Auto on an Audi A5?

To enable Android Auto in your Audi A5, first make sure you have a compatible Android phone and cable. Then, go to the car's infotainment system, select 'Android Auto' from the main menu, and follow the prompts to set up and pair your phone. Make sure your phone's Android Auto app is up to date as well. Hope this helps!

I had the same issue with my Audi A5, and found that I needed to download the 'Audi Smartphone Interface' app from the Google Play Store in order to enable Android Auto. Once I did that, everything worked smoothly. Give it a try!

Before trying to enable Android Auto, make sure your Audi A5 is equipped with the 'Navigation Plus' option. This is required for Android Auto to work. If you don't have it, you may need to upgrade your infotainment system. Also, try adjusting your phone's USB settings to allow for data transfer when connected to the car.
