How can I disable the lane departure warning in an Audi A3?

I recently bought an Audi A3 and I am constantly annoyed by the lane departure warning system. How can I turn it off permanently?

To disable the lane departure warning in an Audi A3, simply go to the settings menu in the digital cockpit display and scroll down to the 'Driver aids' section. From there, you can turn off the lane departure warning.

I had the same issue with my Audi A3 and found out that you can also disable the lane departure warning by pressing and holding the 'Lane assist' button on the center console for 5 seconds.

You can permanently disable the lane departure warning by using a VAG-COM or similar diagnostic tool. This will require some technical knowledge and may void your warranty, so proceed at your own risk.
