How can I disable automatic brake hold on my Audi A1?

I want to turn off the feature where my A1 automatically applies the brakes when I come to a complete stop. It's becoming annoying and affecting my driving experience.

In order to disable automatic brake hold on your Audi A1, go to the settings menu and select 'Vehicle' followed by 'Comfort and Driver Assistance'. From here, you can toggle off the 'Automatic Brake Hold' option.

L

You can also disable automatic brake hold by pressing and holding the brake pedal for a few seconds until you see a message on the infotainment screen asking if you want to disable the feature. Confirm this and the feature will be turned off.

If you don't want to disable the feature completely, you can adjust the sensitivity of the automatic brake hold in the settings menu. This way, it will only engage when you press the brake pedal firmly.
