How can I diagnose and fix intermittent stalling in my Audi 80?

I have a 1992 Audi 80 with an intermittent issue where it will occasionally stall while idling or driving slow. The check engine light does not come on and there are no error codes. Any tips on how to diagnose and fix this issue?

One possible cause of intermittent stalling could be a faulty Idle Air Control (IAC) valve. It is responsible for controlling the amount of air that flows into the engine when the car is idling. If it is damaged or dirty, it can cause erratic idling and stalling. You may want to try cleaning or replacing the IAC valve.

Another potential cause could be a problem with the fuel delivery system. This could include clogged fuel injectors, a dirty fuel filter, or a malfunctioning fuel pump. It is important to regularly maintain and replace these components to ensure proper fuel delivery to the engine.
