One possible cause of a slipping clutch is worn clutch plates. This can occur from normal wear and tear over time. To diagnose this issue, inspect the clutch plates for signs of wear and replace them if necessary.

E

Low clutch fluid levels can also cause a slipping clutch. Check the clutch fluid reservoir and top it off if it is low. If the levels consistently remain low, there may be a leak in the system that needs to be repaired.

Another potential cause of a slipping clutch is a faulty clutch cable. Inspect the cable for any damage or disconnections. If it is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
