How can I check my Audi A1's tire pressure?

I just bought an Audi A1 and want to make sure I keep my tires properly inflated for optimal performance. Can someone please explain how I can check the tire pressure and what the recommended pressure levels are?

First, you will need a tire pressure gauge. Then, locate the valve stem on each tire, remove the cap, and place the gauge on the stem. Compare the reading to the recommended tire pressure listed on the sticker inside the driver's side door jamb. Adjust the pressure as needed and don't forget to check your spare tire as well.
