I recently purchased a new Audi A4 and I noticed there is an automatic start-stop system in the car. However, I can't seem to figure out how to activate it. Can anyone provide instructions on how to activate this feature?
ReplyTo activate the automatic start-stop system on your Audi A4, simply press the start-stop button located next to the gearshift. This will turn the function on and it will start working whenever you come to a complete stop.
You may also have to adjust your preferences in the MMI system to enable the start-stop function. Go to 'Car' in the main menu, then 'Settings' and finally select 'Auto Engine-Off' to turn on the function.
In addition to pressing the start-stop button, make sure that the brake pedal is fully pressed when coming to a stop. The system will only activate if the pedal is fully depressed.
