How are Audi's e-Tron vehicles charged?

I want to know more about the charging process for Audi's e-Tron vehicles. Do they use a special charging station or can they be charged at home? What is the typical charging time?

Audi e-Tron vehicles use a 150 kW fast-charging capability, which allows for exceptionally quick recharging. With the Electrify America network, charging from 5% to 80% takes approximately 30 minutes. At home, you can use a 240-volt/50-amp outlet to fully charge the vehicle overnight.

The e-Tron's charging system enables different charging solutions, including the ability to use a J1772 AC connector or the CCS DC variant for faster charges. Depending on individual charging preferences, the customer can access more than 16,000 of the new charging stations currently being installed by Electrify America across the US.

During charging, the high-voltage battery is cooled by a low-temperature liquid circuit, which gets rid of waste heat via the air conditioning system. Depending on the battery and ambient temperature, Audi's thermal management ensures that high performance is maintained in all sorts of driving conditions.
