Can a turbocharger be added to a 1990 Audi 80?

I have a 1990 Audi 80 with a 2.0L engine. I am wondering if it is possible to add a turbocharger to increase its performance. Can anyone provide insight on if this is possible and if so, how difficult and expensive it would be?
