I've noticed that the Audi e-Tron takes longer to charge compared to other electric vehicles. Is this a design flaw or is there a specific reason behind it?
ReplyThe charging time of the Audi e-Tron is longer due to its larger battery capacity. While this may seem like a disadvantage, it actually allows for a longer driving range on a single charge.
The Audi e-Tron uses a 150 kW high-speed charging system, which is not yet widely available. If you have access to a 150 kW charger, you can significantly reduce the charging time.
It's also important to note that the e-Tron has regenerative braking, which can extend the driving range. This may also contribute to a longer charging time as the battery needs to fully discharge before it can recharge.
