I recently purchased an Audi e-Tron and have noticed that it is not holding its charge as well as it used to. I usually charge it overnight and when I wake up, the battery is almost empty. Is there something wrong with my car or am I doing something wrong?
ReplyHi Emily, there are a few potential reasons why your e-Tron may not be holding its charge. First, make sure that you are fully charging the battery before unplugging it. Also, try not to let the battery completely drain as this can also affect its overall performance. Additionally, extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, can impact battery life. If none of these factors seem to be the issue, it may be worth bringing your car in to a dealership to have it checked out.
Hi Emily, I have an e-Tron as well and have experienced a similar issue. After speaking with my dealership, they recommended checking for any software updates that may improve the performance of the battery. It might also be helpful to adjust your driving habits, such as avoiding hard accelerations and using the regenerative braking feature, to conserve energy. Hope this helps!
Hey Emily, it's possible that your battery may need to be replaced. Audi offers an 8-year/100,000 mile warranty on the e-Tron battery, so if you're still experiencing issues after trying out the other suggestions, I would suggest bringing it in to a dealership to have them take a look.
