Why is my Audi AC not cooling?

My Audi's AC is not cooling properly, it only blows warm air. I'm worried that there may be an issue with the AC system. Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I need to bring it to a mechanic?

The most common reason for an Audi's AC to not cool properly is due to a refrigerant leak. This can be fixed by a mechanic but it can be costly. You can try checking and refilling the refrigerant yourself using a DIY kit, but be careful to follow instructions properly.

Another possible reason for the AC not cooling is a faulty compressor. This can also be fixed by a mechanic, but make sure to get a quote before proceeding with the repair.

Sometimes, the issue can also be with the AC's condenser or evaporator. In this case, it's best to have a professional look at it as these parts are more complicated to fix on your own.
