Why is my Audi A7 making a knocking sound?

I recently started hearing a knocking sound coming from my Audi A7. It seems to only happen when I accelerate. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It is possible that your engine is experiencing detonation, also known as knocking. This can be caused by low-quality fuel, incorrect ignition timing, or air pollution. You may want to have your fuel system checked and possibly switch to higher-octane gasoline.

Another possibility is that your engine's internal components, such as the pistons or connecting rods, are worn out and in need of replacement. It is important to have your Audi A7 regularly serviced to prevent this kind of wear and tear.

In some cases, the knocking sound could be coming from loose or damaged engine mounts. These mounts are responsible for holding the engine in place and if they are not secure, it could cause vibrations and knocking noises. Have your mechanic check the engine mounts and replace them if necessary.
