Why is my Audi A5 making a strange clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently noticed that whenever I turn the steering wheel of my Audi A5, there is a strange clicking noise coming from under the hood. It doesn't affect the performance of the car, but it's a bit concerning. Any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it?

The clicking noise is most likely caused by a worn out CV joint. This joint connects the transmission to the wheels and can wear out over time, especially if you frequently turn your wheels all the way. You should get it checked by a mechanic and replaced if necessary.

I had a similar issue with my Audi A5 and it turned out to be a loose or damaged steering column. This can cause clicking or popping noises when turning the wheel. Make sure to have it checked and tightened or replaced if needed.

It could also be due to low power steering fluid. Check the fluid level and top it off if necessary. If the noise persists, it could be a sign of a leak or other issue with the power steering system.
