Why is my Audi A4's engine making a clicking sound?

I have noticed that my Audi A4's engine is making a repetitive clicking sound while idling. It seems to come from the front of the engine. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it normal?

This clicking sound could be caused by a number of issues such as a worn out drive belt or low oil levels. It is important to have it checked by a mechanic to determine the exact cause and prevent any potential engine damage.

It is not uncommon for older Audi A4 models to develop a clicking sound from the engine due to worn out camshafts or lifters. I would recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair.
