Why is my Audi A1 making a strange noise while reversing?

I recently noticed that my Audi A1 is making a strange noise while I'm reversing. This noise is not present while driving forward or in neutral. What could be causing this noise?

It's possible that your brake pads may need to be replaced. They could be worn out, causing a noise while reversing. I recommend getting them checked by a mechanic.

Check your tires for any rocks or debris that may have gotten stuck. This can cause strange noises while reversing. Make sure to clean them out extensively.

It could also be an issue with your transmission. If it's been a while since you've had it serviced, it may be time to get it checked out. A faulty transmission can cause all kinds of noises.
