Why does my Audi A8 make a strange noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently noticed that my Audi A8 starts to make a strange noise whenever I turn the steering wheel, especially when driving at low speeds. I'm worried that there might be something wrong with my car. Can someone please explain what could be causing this and how I can fix it?

Hi Maria, this strange noise can be caused by a number of things. It could be an issue with the power steering system, such as low fluid levels or a faulty pump. It could also be caused by worn out steering components, such as a bad tie rod end or ball joint. I would recommend taking your car to a mechanic to get it checked out and fixed as soon as possible. It's always better to address these issues early on to avoid further damage.

Hi Maria, I had a similar issue with my Audi A8 and it turned out to be a problem with the steering column. There was some wear and tear on the column that was causing the noise. I would suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic and have them inspect the steering column. They can replace any worn or damaged parts to fix the issue.
