Why does my Audi A8 make a clicking noise when I turn the steering wheel?

I recently purchased an Audi A8 and noticed that whenever I turn the steering wheel, I hear a clicking noise coming from the front of the car. It doesn't seem to affect the performance of the car, but I'm curious about what could be causing it. Can anyone provide any insights?

This clicking noise is most likely caused by a faulty CV joint in your car's front axle. It's a common issue with older Audis and can be easily fixed by a mechanic. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have it checked and repaired if needed.

I had the same issue with my Audi A8 and it turned out to be a loose bolt in the steering column. I tightened it myself and the clicking noise disappeared. Check for any loose bolts or screws in the steering system before taking it to a mechanic.
