Why does my Audi A6 lose power while accelerating on the highway?

I've noticed that every time I try to accelerate on the highway, my Audi A6 seems to lose power. Could this be a sign of a bigger issue? What should I do?

It is possible that your vehicle's fuel filter is clogged, causing a restriction in the fuel flow and resulting in power loss. We recommend getting this checked and replaced if necessary by a certified mechanic.

Another potential issue could be a faulty spark plug or ignition coil. If these components are not working properly, it can cause a significant loss in power while accelerating. It would be best to have these checked and replaced if needed.

In some cases, a dirty air filter can also cause loss of power. Make sure to regularly replace your air filter to avoid any performance issues.
