Why does my Audi A5 shake when I brake at high speeds?

I've noticed that when I hit the brakes at higher speeds (over 60 mph), the steering wheel and entire car shakes. What could be causing this? Is it something I should be concerned about?

This shaking could be caused by warped or worn brake rotors. It's a fairly common issue with older cars, but can also happen with newer ones. It's important to have your brakes checked and serviced regularly to prevent accidents and keep your car running smoothly.

Another possible cause could be an issue with the suspension system. If your shock absorbers, struts, or other components are worn or damaged, it can cause shaking when you brake. Have a mechanic check your suspension to ensure everything is functioning properly.

Make sure your tires are properly balanced and aligned. If they are not, it can cause shaking and vibrations when braking at high speeds. It's a simple fix that can greatly improve your driving experience and safety.
