Why does my Audi A5 keep stalling when I come to a stop?

I recently bought an Audi A5 and I've noticed that when I come to a stop, the car stalls and the engine shuts off. It's really frustrating and I'm not sure what could be causing it. Does anyone have any ideas?

It sounds like your idle air control valve may be malfunctioning. This valve controls the airflow into the engine when the car is idling, and if it's not working properly, it can cause stalling. I recommend getting it checked out by a mechanic as soon as possible.

I had the same issue with my Audi A5 and it turned out to be a problem with the fuel pump. When the pump gets clogged or starts to fail, it can cause stalling at low speeds. Get it checked out by a mechanic and they should be able to diagnose and fix the issue.

One thing you can try is cleaning the throttle body and mass airflow sensor. These components can get dirty over time and affect the airflow into the engine, which can cause stalling. Just make sure to use the appropriate cleaning products and instructions as specified by your car's manual.
