Why does my Audi A2 sunroof not close properly?

Despite pressing the close button multiple times or manually trying to close it, the sunroof only closes halfway before getting stuck. What could be causing this issue and how can it be fixed?

It is possible that there is debris or dirt obstructing the sunroof's tracks, causing it to get stuck. Try cleaning the tracks with a rag or compressed air and see if that helps. Additionally, the sunroof motor may need to be replaced.

The sunroof's fuse may have blown, preventing it from functioning properly. Check the fuse box and replace the fuse if needed.

S

It could be a problem with the sunroof's control module or switch. Consider taking it to a mechanic or dealership to have it checked and potentially replaced.
