Why does my Audi A2's power steering feel heavy?

I recently had my Audi A2 serviced, but now the power steering feels heavy. It was fine before the service, so I am wondering what could be causing this issue?

It is possible that there is air trapped in your power steering system. This can happen during a service if the system is not properly bled afterwards. It should be an easy fix for a mechanic, so I recommend taking it back to them.

Another possible cause could be a faulty power steering pump. If the pump is not functioning properly, it can cause the steering to feel heavy. It is best to have a professional mechanic diagnose and fix the issue.

Sometimes, the power steering fluid can become dirty or low, which can affect the steering performance. Check the fluid level and quality, and consider having it flushed and replaced if needed.
