Why does my Audi A1's engine not start when it's hot?

I've noticed that after driving my Audi A1 for a while and then shutting it off, it won't start back up until the engine has cooled down. What could be causing this issue?

It is likely that your engine is experiencing vapor lock. This occurs when the fuel in the lines turns into a gas and restricts the flow of fuel, preventing the engine from starting. To prevent this, make sure to park in a shaded area or use a heat shield on the fuel lines.
