Why does my Audi A1 make a whirring noise when I accelerate?

I recently noticed a strange whirring noise coming from my Audi A1 when I accelerate. It seems to be coming from the engine area but I can't pinpoint the exact source. Any ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix it?

The most common reason for a whirring noise in an Audi A1 is a faulty wheel bearing. This can cause a loud, droning noise when driving at higher speeds. It's important to have this checked and replaced by a mechanic as soon as possible to avoid further damage to the vehicle.

It could also be a problem with the power steering system. Low power steering fluid or a malfunctioning power steering pump can cause a whirring noise when accelerating. You may also notice difficulty steering your car. It's best to have a professional diagnose and repair this issue.
