Why am I experiencing engine stalling in my Audi A1?

My Audi A1 has been stalling frequently while driving, causing potential safety hazards on the road. I have taken it to the dealership but they were unable to find a cause. What could be the issue and how can I prevent it?

This could be a result of a faulty fuel pump, which is responsible for supplying fuel to the engine. It may be failing or clogged, causing the stalling. I recommend taking your car to a trusted mechanic for a diagnostic test to confirm and replace the fuel pump if necessary.

Another possibility could be a faulty mass air flow sensor, which measures the amount of air entering the engine and adjusts the fuel accordingly. If it is malfunctioning, it can cause stalling. Consider getting your mass air flow sensor checked and replaced if needed.

Sometimes, stalling can be caused by a dirty throttle body, which regulates the amount of air entering the engine. If it is clogged with dirt and debris, it can affect the air-fuel mixture and cause stalling. My recommendation is to clean your throttle body regularly to prevent this issue.
