When should I replace the oxygen sensor in my Audi A2?

I have a 2005 Audi A2 and I was wondering when is the ideal time to replace the oxygen sensor?

The oxygen sensor should ideally be replaced every 30,000 miles or when it starts to malfunction. It is also recommended to replace it every time you change your car's spark plugs to ensure optimal performance.

If you notice a decrease in fuel efficiency or a check engine light related to a faulty oxygen sensor, it's time to replace it. It's a relatively easy and inexpensive fix that can improve your car's performance in the long run.

It's always better to err on the side of caution and replace your oxygen sensor every 50,000 miles. It may seem like a unnecessary expense, but a faulty sensor can lead to bigger and more costly problems down the road.
