What is the Recommended Way to Change the Brake Pads on an Audi 80?

I have an Audi 80 from 1992 and I need to replace the brake pads. What is the best way to do it? Are there any specific tools or techniques I need to know?

First, make sure you have all the necessary tools and equipment ready, including a jack, lug wrench, c-clamp, and new brake pads. Once that's done, loosen the lug nuts on the wheel, lift the car and remove the wheel. Then, with the c-clamp, compress the piston in the caliper, remove the old pads and replace them with the new ones. Finally, reattach the wheel and tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern.

It's always helpful to have someone with experience guide you through the process the first time. YouTube videos can also be a great resource. Be sure to wear gloves and eye protection as working with brake pads can be quite messy. And don't forget to properly dispose of the old brake pads.
