What is the maintenance schedule for changing the engine oil in an Audi R8?

I just bought a new Audi R8 and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. I know engine oil is important for the overall health of the car, so I wanted to know how often I should be changing it and what type of oil to use.

According to Audi's official maintenance schedule, the engine oil in the R8 should be changed every 10,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever comes first. It is also recommended to use Audi-approved synthetic oil, such as 5W-40 Castrol EDGE Professional.
