I am looking to buy an Audi A6 but I am confused between the 55 TFSI e and the 50 TDI. Can someone explain the difference between the two?

The main difference between the Audi A6 55 TFSI e and 50 TDI lies in their powertrain. The 55 TFSI e has a plug-in hybrid system, with an electric motor and battery, while the 50 TDI has a diesel engine.

If you do a lot of city driving, the Audi A6 55 TFSI e would be a better option as it can run purely on electric power for a short distance. On the other hand, if you often travel long distances or commute on highways, the 50 TDI would be more suitable.

Keep in mind that the Audi A6 55 TFSI e will have a higher upfront cost due to its advanced hybrid technology. However, it may save you money in the long run on fuel costs and maintenance.
