I am considering buying an Audi A8 and I noticed that there are different versions of their AWD system. Can you explain the difference between quattro and e-quattro and which one would be better for my needs?
ReplyQuattro is Audi's traditional AWD system that uses a mechanical center differential to distribute power between the front and rear wheels. E-quattro, on the other hand, is a newer system that uses an electric motor to drive the rear wheels. While both systems provide excellent traction and handling, e-quattro offers quicker response and better efficiency.
If you live in an area with a lot of snow or rain, I would recommend going for the quattro version. Its mechanical system is better suited for those conditions. However, if you want a more dynamic and fuel-efficient driving experience, e-quattro would be the better choice.
