What is the difference between Quattro and all-wheel drive?

I am thinking of buying an Audi and I noticed that some models come with Quattro and others with all-wheel drive. Are these two the same thing or is there a difference? Which one should I choose?

Quattro and all-wheel drive are not the same thing. Quattro is a specific type of all-wheel drive that is unique to Audi. It uses a mechanical center differential to distribute power to all four wheels, while traditional all-wheel drive systems typically use a viscous coupling or an electronically controlled clutch to transfer power. As for which one you should choose, it depends on your driving needs. If you frequently drive on slippery or uneven terrain, Quattro may be a good choice since it offers better traction. However, if you mostly drive on paved roads, a traditional all-wheel drive system should suffice.
