What is the difference between a turbo and supercharged engine in the Audi A4?

I'm looking to buy an Audi A4 and I'm not sure which engine option to choose. I've heard some people recommend the turbocharged engine and others say the supercharged engine is better. Can someone explain the difference and which one is a better choice?

The main difference between a turbo and supercharged engine is how they create more power. A turbo uses exhaust gases to spin a turbine, while a supercharger is directly connected to the engine to generate more power. In terms of performance, a turbocharged engine may have a slight edge due to the exhaust gases being a more efficient source of energy.
