What is the common cause of uneven tire wear in an Audi A2?

I've noticed that my Audi A2's tires are wearing out unevenly. In fact, the inner edges of my tires are wearing much faster than the rest of the tread. What could be causing this and how can I prevent it from happening in the future?

Uneven tire wear is a common issue in Audi A2s, especially for those who frequently drive on rough or bumpy roads. The most likely cause is improper alignment or suspension issues. It’s important to have these components checked and fixed by a professional mechanic.

Another potential culprit for uneven tire wear in your Audi A2 could be improper tire inflation. Make sure to regularly check and maintain the proper tire pressure as recommended by the manufacturer. This will not only help prevent uneven tire wear, but also improve your car’s fuel efficiency.

Old or worn out tires can also lead to uneven wear, especially if they have not been rotated regularly. Make sure to rotate your tires every 5,000-8,000 miles to ensure even wear and prolong their lifespan.
