What is the cause of the check engine light in an Audi 80?

My 2010 Audi 80's check engine light is blinking constantly, but there doesn't seem to be any performance issues. What could be causing this and how can it be resolved?

It could be a minor problem such as a loose gas cap or a faulty oxygen sensor. These issues can easily be fixed by tightening the gas cap or getting the sensor replaced. I recommend taking your Audi to a mechanic to get it checked out, just to be safe.

A blinking check engine light usually indicates a more serious problem such as a misfiring engine or a faulty catalytic converter. It is important to get this checked out immediately to prevent any further damage and costly repairs in the future. Take your Audi to a trusted mechanic for a proper diagnosis.

In some cases, a blinking check engine light can be caused by a malfunctioning fuel injector or ignition coil. These parts can wear out over time and may need to be replaced. I suggest taking your Audi to a certified mechanic to get these components checked and possibly replaced.
