What is the cause of a shaking steering wheel in an Audi A4?

I've been experiencing a shaking or vibrating sensation in the steering wheel of my Audi A4. It only happens when I reach speeds of 60 to 70 mph. What could be causing this issue?

It is likely that your wheels are out of balance. This can be caused by improper tire installation or uneven tire wear. I suggest taking your car to a trusted mechanic to have the tires balanced and aligned.

Another possible cause for a shaking steering wheel could be worn out suspension components. Check for any worn or damaged shocks, struts, or control arms. These should be replaced if necessary to improve the steering and handling of your A4.
