What is the best oil for a 1992 Audi 80 with a 1.8L engine?

I have recently purchased a 1992 Audi 80 with a 1.8L engine and I am unsure of what type of oil to use for regular oil changes. Can anyone recommend the best type of oil for this specific engine?

The best oil for a 1992 Audi 80 with a 1.8L engine would be a synthetic blend that meets the specifications recommended by Audi. Look for oils that are approved by the American Petroleum Institute (API) and meet the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) A3/B4 specifications.

My recommendation would be to use a full synthetic oil with a viscosity of 5W-40. This will provide better protection for your engine and keep it running smoothly for longer. Make sure to also check the oil level regularly and change it every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.
