What are the common causes of brake squeaking in an Audi R8?

I have noticed a persistent squeaking noise whenever I apply the brakes in my Audi R8. It has been bothering me for a while now and I would like to know what could be causing it.

The most common cause of brake squeaking in Audis is worn brake pads. It is recommended to have them replaced every 50,000 miles or as needed.

Another possible cause could be a build-up of brake dust on the rotors. Make sure to clean them regularly to prevent this issue.

If the squeaking noise occurs only when the brakes are cold or wet, it could be due to a thin layer of rust on the rotors. This is normal and will usually go away after a few stops.
