Is there a way to manually override the automatic parking feature in an Audi A8?

I just purchased an Audi A8 and am still learning all of its features. One thing that I find frustrating is the automatic parking feature. It sometimes takes a while to find a suitable parallel parking spot and I end up just parking manually. Is there a way to turn off this feature temporarily?

Yes, there is a way to override the automatic parking feature. Simply press and hold the button with the P and steering wheel symbol on the MMI control panel. This will turn off the automatic parking system and the car will no longer search for parking spaces. To turn it back on, just press the button again.
