Is it normal for the Audi A5 to make a rattling noise when accelerating?

I recently purchased a used Audi A5 and noticed that it tends to make a rattling noise when I accelerate. Is this something I should be concerned about?

While it's always a good idea to get any unknown noises checked out by a mechanic, it is not uncommon for Audi A5s to make a slight rattling noise when accelerating. This could be due to a variety of factors such as worn engine mounts or loose exhaust components. Getting a professional opinion would be the best course of action, but if the noise isn't too loud and the car is running smoothly, it may not be anything to worry about.

I have an Audi A5 as well and I've noticed the same noise when I accelerate. After bringing it in to my mechanic, he determined that it was due to a loose heat shield on the exhaust system. It's a common issue with these cars and can easily be fixed. I would recommend bringing it in to have it checked, just to be on the safe side.
