ReplyTo update the MMI system's firmware, you will need a USB flash drive and access to Audi's website. First, download the firmware update file from Audi's website onto your computer, then transfer it onto the USB drive. Insert the USB drive into your A5's USB port and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Note that updating the firmware on your MMI system may take some time and your vehicle will need to be running for the entire duration of the update. It's recommended to have at least half a tank of gas when performing the update.
