I recently purchased an Audi A5 and am having some issues with the MMI system. Whenever I try to connect my phone to the system, it disconnects after a few minutes. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?
ReplyIt sounds like there may be an issue with the Bluetooth connection. Try resetting the MMI system by pressing and holding the Nav, Radio, and Info buttons simultaneously. This should reset the system and hopefully fix the issue.
Make sure your phone's software is up to date and that your car's software is also up to date. Sometimes compatibility issues can cause connections to disconnect.
I had a similar issue with my A5 and found that the antenna amplifier was faulty. You may want to have that checked by a mechanic if the previous suggestions don't work.
