How to troubleshoot a squeaking noise coming from the brakes on my Audi?

I recently noticed a squeaking noise coming from my Audi's brakes. This noise seems to occur only when I press down on the brakes, and it's becoming quite bothersome. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi Max, this squeaking noise is most likely caused by worn brake pads. As brake pads wear down, their metal wear indicators start to make contact with the rotor, resulting in a high-pitched squeak. I recommend having your brake pads replaced as soon as possible to avoid further damage to your brakes.
