I have been experiencing some issues with my MMI on my Audi A6 and I have read that a reset may help. How can I reset the MMI and what does it do?
ReplyTo reset the MMI on your Audi A6, you will need to press and hold down the MENU button on the MMI control panel while simultaneously pressing the CAR and SETUP buttons. This will reboot the MMI and may help resolve any issues you are experiencing.
Resetting the MMI will clear any temporary settings and restore the system to its default state. This can be helpful if you are experiencing freezing or lagging on your MMI. To reset, press and hold down the MENU, CAR, and SETUP buttons for around 5 seconds.
If your MMI is unresponsive or not functioning properly, resetting it can help. Simply press and hold the MENU, CAR, and BACK buttons for a few seconds until the MMI screen goes black. Keep in mind, this will not erase any existing settings or data.
