How to disengage the electronically-controlled braking system on an Audi?

I have an Audi A4 and I've noticed that the electronically-controlled braking system can sometimes be quite sensitive. Is there a way to manually disengage it in case of emergency or to prevent it from constantly activating?

To disengage the EBC system on your Audi, simply press and hold the brake pedal for 3-5 seconds. This will force the system to deactivate and allow you to brake manually without interference.

Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity setting on your Audi's EBC system? This can be done through the settings on your MMI display. Give it a try to see if it helps with the sensitivity issues.

You can also disengage the EBC system by pulling the 25A fuse in your Audi's fuse box labeled 'EBD' for electronic brake distribution. This will completely disable the EBC system until the fuse is replaced.
