How to disable the automatic start-stop function in Audi vehicles?

I find the automatic start-stop function in my Audi car to be annoying. Is there a way to permanently disable it? I'm worried about the effect it may have on my engine over time.

Unfortunately, there is no way to permanently disable the automatic start-stop function in Audi vehicles. However, you can override it by pressing the button on the center console every time you start your car. This will prevent the engine from shutting off at stop lights or in traffic.
