How to disable the Audi Q5 Auto Start-Stop Feature?

I recently purchased an Audi Q5 and the Auto Start-Stop feature is starting to bother me. Is there any way to permanently disable it?

To disable the Auto Start-Stop feature on your Audi Q5, you can use the MMI (Multi Media Interface) system to turn it off. From the main menu, go to 'CAR', then select 'CAR SETTINGS', and finally select 'AUTO START-STOP'. From there, you can toggle the feature off. If you want to turn it back on, simply follow the same steps and toggle the feature on.

While the MMI system is the easiest way to disable the Auto Start-Stop feature, you can also do so manually by pressing the button with an 'A' and a circular arrow located near the gear selector. This will disable the feature for your current drive. Unfortunately, there is no permanent way to turn off the feature completely.

As an alternative, you can also use an OBD (On-Board Diagnostics) tool to disable the Auto Start-Stop feature permanently. However, this may void your warranty and should be done with caution.
