Firstly, make sure your car is parked on a flat surface and the engine is turned off. Open the hood and locate the engine oil dipstick. Pull it out and wipe it clean with a cloth or paper towel. Insert the dipstick back into the tube, wait a few seconds and then pull it out again. The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks. If it is below the minimum mark, you need to add more oil.

Another method is to use the Audi MMI system. Go to the Driver Information System via the dashboard and select the 'Oil Level' option. The system will then display the engine oil level. If it is below the minimum mark, you will need to add more oil.
