How often should I change my Audi's engine oil?

I have an Audi A4 and I'm wondering how often I should get my oil changed for optimal engine performance.

As a general rule, you should change your engine oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles or every 6 months, whichever comes first. However, if you drive your Audi in severe conditions, such as frequent stop-and-go traffic or extreme temperatures, you may need to change your oil more frequently.

I recommend checking your Audi's owner's manual for specific guidelines on changing your engine oil. It's always better to err on the side of caution and change your oil more frequently rather than waiting too long.

If you plan on keeping your Audi for a long time, I suggest getting your oil changed every 3,000 miles. This may seem excessive, but it will ensure that your engine remains in top condition.
